Response

We have posted our contact details through letter boxes of all residents in the Parish of Appleby.  We can offer assistance with essential shopping, collecting prescriptions and dog walking but only for those who do not have the support of family, friends and neighbours.  It is important at this difficult time that we all support each other.

Essential Shopping

We are working with Low Howgill Butchers and Deli together with other local businesses to ensure that those without any other support can have essential shopping delivered to their homes.  This system protects both the community and volunteers as it does not involve our volunteers in any financial transactions.

Shopping orders for essential items can be telephoned to Low Howgill Butchers and Deli on 017683 51644 before mid day for delivery the following afternoon.  Sorry no alcohol or tobacco.  Low Howgill Butchers and Deli will take a card payment over the phone when you order is ready to be delivered.

Prescriptions

If you need a prescription collecting and delivering please contact us on 07467589238 and we will arrange for your prescription to be collected and delivered.
